The aim of this research project will be to further explore how businesses can establish and increase their visibility and influence over (particularly) the lower tiers of long and complex supply chains, in order to prevent or mitigate the risk of modern slavery.
Teams must be interdisciplinary in nature, with one academic collaborator (as project lead) and one non-academic collaborator at minimum (e.g. third sector).
Funding for eligible non-academic and international collaborators must make up no more than 30% of the total award value, but will be funded at 100% full economic cost. For-profit businesses are not eligible for funding under this scheme but may be partners to projects on an in-kind basis. Please refer to the call document for full details.
Academic collaborators will be funded at 80% full economic cost, in line with standard AHRC/UKRI funding guidelines.
Please see the call document for full eligibility.
